I ordered some parts from a supplier on Alibaba for the first time, and yeah, I was a little nervous because sending money across the internet to a supplier I’d never used before sounds like a totally relaxing hobby. Trade Assurance definitely helped, since it didn’t feel like I was just throwing my payment into the void and hoping for the best. One item showed up late, which was annoying, but I could track everything on the order page and message the seller there, so at least I wasn’t left guessing. Overall, it felt much safer than dealing off-site, and I’d probably use it again.
